After a year and a half the bathroom project was finished in 2015.
The bathtub is our old cast iron claw foot tub with the feet removed, refinished, and built-in. The bathtub surround is wood intarsia. The horizontal area around the tub is coloured concrete, as is the vanity counter top. The sink is hand hammered copper. The floor in the shower is made of loose stones cemented in place and grouted. The wall tiles had some of the smaller tiles removed and replaced with other tile pieces. The handles and towel racks are 3/8″ brass rod hand hammered to give it a dimpled effect. The floor is cork with coloured cork “drop” inserts.
